Which types of capacitors are more common?

1, aluminum electrolytic capacitor

Absorbent paper impregnated with paste electrolyte is sandwiched between two aluminum-platinum, and a thin oxide film is used as a dielectric capacitor. Because the oxide film has unidirectional conductivity, electrolytic capacitors have polarity. Large capacity, large fluctuation current capacity deviation, large leakage current; Generally not suitable for high frequency low temperature, not suitable for low frequency bypass above 25kHz, signal coupling and power filter.

2. Tantalum electrolytic capacitor

With sintered tantalum block as the positive electrode, the electrolyte adopts the temperature characteristics of solid manganese dioxide, especially the small leakage current, good storage, long service life, small capacity deviation and small volume.

3, film capacitor

The structure is similar to that of paper capacitors, but low loss plastics such as polyester and polyethylene have good frequency characteristics as medium and small dielectric loss, and can not be made into large capacity and poor heat resistance filters, integration, impact and timing circuits.
